Instagram allowed uploading content from computer

The social network Instagram has expanded its functions. It now allows you to download videos and photos from your computer via your internet browser. Information about this was received on Thursday, October 21, Izvestia writes.

As reported by the press service of Instagram on their Twitter page, they were very excited to launch this new feature. Now users of the social network will be able to upload photos and videos up to a minute through their Internet browser directly to Instagram.

Previously, Instagram users could only post content from mobile devices.

On October 5, one of the most serious failures occurred in the work of Facebook services (WhatsApp, Instagram). For more than six hours, the messenger and social networks did not work. Then Netflix, Tinder, YouTube, Zoom and Bank of America crashed.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has apologized for the failure of the platform. The company explained that the difficulties arose due to an incorrect configuration change on the part of Facebook. No cyberattacks, as the company representatives emphasized, have happened, and all user data has been preserved.

At the same time, on October 8, many Facebook and Instagram users again encountered crashes in the work of applications and sites. Complaints came from the United States, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Russia and several other countries.
