At the beginning of 2020, the traditional Upper Austrian company Wick Fenster und Sonnenschutz GmbH had to file for bankruptcy. A reorganization procedure was planned, but failed. The sun protection division was taken over by Fensterbauer Actual. The window production on the site in Vorchdorf has finally been stopped.
“Over 1,100 items will now be auctioned online at aurena.at on December 9, 2020, including production machines weighing tons, joinery machines, screws, dowels and sandpaper as well as fittings and seals, but also small tools. And it goes on to say: “The window manufacturer's production machines are interesting for commercial use and are rarely available in this form: from the entire sawing lines for large-scale production to milling systems and grinding machines to gluing presses, suction and blower systems. There are also accessories window production with large lots of fittings, seals and roller hinges; there is also a box with around 150 window care sets up for auction. “
But also small machines and useful items for your own workshop can be found, according to aurena: whether tools and workbenches, assembly tables and lifting trucks, office furniture and cupboards. Items such as “10,000 wood screws” at a starting price of ten euros or “26 barrels with colors” at a starting price of five euros are also going under the hammer.
