On the morning of March 13, for the third time since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops attacked the airport in Ivano-Frankivsk.
This was announced by the mayor of the city Ruslan Martsinkiv. He noted that as a result of morning shelling, the infrastructure of the airport was almost destroyed.
– Today, the third time they hit the airport in Ivano-Frankivsk. Its infrastructure is almost destroyed. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties,” he said.
Ruslan Martsinkiv added that the authorities will find out why the strikes were carried out after the air raid had been cleared. He urged citizens to be as careful as possible, not to spread fakes and to remain calm.
Also on March 13, for the first time since February 24, since the full-scale invasion, the Russian invaders launched an air strike in the Lviv region – on the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security. According to preliminary information, they fired eight missiles.
