Infectious disease doctor Yevgeny Timakov said that vaccination would help to avoid postcoid syndrome. Scientists continue to analyze the situation.
“An analysis of the situation shows that there are no people who have been vaccinated in rehabilitation centers, that is, the vaccine, according to the preliminary scientific data, which is available, saves from postcoid syndrome,” Timakov told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, kp.ru reported that mass vaccination against coronavirus began in Russia in January 2021. It is held in all regions of the country.
The first vaccine against the infection was registered by scientists at the Gamaleya Center. At the moment “Sputnik V” is supplied to more than 66 countries of the world. Also in Russia vaccines have been created – “EpiVacCorona” from the “Vector” center of Rospotrebnadzor and “KoviVak”, developed by the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In early May, it became known about the registration of the fourth domestic vaccine “Sputnik Light”.
