The infamous smartphone manufacturer LeEco has set an event for May 18 to present its new products. Previously, this company left the market due to serious problems.
In 2017, a Shanghai court seized the property of the founder of LeEco due to the company failing to pay interest on bank loans for business development. In the same year, LeEco closed its only store in Russia. The rental costs were too high. As a result, the company left almost all markets.
LeEco is now promoting the upcoming event with the slogan I'm back. The event is positioned as an environmental conference LeTV. There is speculation that the event will be dedicated to VR products or multimedia. This way the company can go back to its roots – it started out as a video streaming service.
