The Indian Space Research Organization has successfully sent 19 satellites into orbit. The organization broadcast the launch live on its Twitter page.
The PSLV-C51 launch vehicle was launched today from the launch site off the southeast coast of India.
Among the satellites sent into orbit is the Brazilian 637-kilogram device Amazonia-1. It is an Earth observation satellite.
It is the first Brazilian spacecraft to be launched into orbit by an Indian rocket.
Other vehicles include three research satellites, one young scientist training vehicle, an Indian technology demonstration satellite, and the American NanoConnect-2.
The other day, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that data from Russian satellites helped in tracking the dynamics and energy characteristics of the eruption of the Italian volcano Etna.
The volcanic eruption was filmed from two angles at the same time, the results were obtained in the spectral channel 3.5-4.1 microns.
