Modi made the corresponding statement during the general political debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (GA) in September. “The production and supply of vaccines in India will be used to help all of humanity fight this crisis,” Aljazeera quoted him as saying. He also pledged that New Delhi would help other countries to improve the storage and transportation of medicines, as well as support in expanding storage capacity for the delivery of vaccines.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the interest of dozens of countries in Russian vaccines against coronavirus. According to the head of state, “dozens of countries have already expressed a desire to establish cooperation in the supply and joint production of these drugs.”
