He also found residues of organophosphorus compounds in the blood of those affected by the disease, and it is necessary to establish how they got into the human body, ”the minister said.

At the same time, specialists have still not been able to find out the exact cause of the disease. Lead and nickel were found in the patients' analyzes, but doctors exclude contamination of drinking water. Reddy also noted that four new cases were identified in Eluru on December 11. The total number of victims reached 613.
