It is not known for certain whether the driver who caused the accident was a participant in the protest at the border.

At a blocked checkpoint ” Rava-Russkaya-Grebnoye” on the border of Poland and Ukraine, a Polish bus driver hit three Ukrainian truck drivers who were at a pedestrian crossing.

Journalist Evgeny Plinsky reported this on Thursday, December 14, on his Facebook page, publishing a video from the scene of the incident.

People have gathered at the scene of the accident, some of them are Ukrainian drivers, who threaten to “block the entire city with trucks” in response to the Pole’s inappropriate behavior. Polish police and an ambulance arrived at the scene.

It is not known for certain whether the driver who caused the accident was a participant in the protest at the border. However, the author of the message added that the Polish protesters, who were organized by the far-right politician and owner of the logistics company Rafal Mekler, admitted that they receive 400 zlotys daily for blocking the border.

“It’s just some kind of hell rushing there,” commented Plinsky.

Let us remind you that on November 6, Polish carriers began to block the movement of trucks at the Krakovets-Korcheva, Yagodin-Dorogusk and Rava-Russkaya-Grebnoye checkpoints. Among the main demands is the return of the practice of permits for Ukrainian carriers, abolished by the agreement with the European Union until June 30, 2024. Protesters want the agreement to be torn up and the border crossing permit regime to be resumed on January 1.
