Warsaw City Hall is preparing to the distribution of tablets containing potassium iodide.
Citizens of the Polish capital will receive them if a radiation hazard is detected in the country and a radiation emergency is declared in connection with the military actions of Russia in area of nuclear power plants in Ukraine.

As part of preventive measures in Warsaw, it is planned to prepare points for the distribution of tablets and, if necessary, appoint coordinators, persons who will be responsible for the distribution of medicines in the regions.
It is noted that a sufficient amount of potassium iodide is provided for every Polish citizen.
