Warsaw police arrested two Poles for attacking two Ukrainians with a knife.
In the capital of Poland, Warsaw, law enforcement officers detained two Poles, attacked Ukrainians with a knife and beat them.
This was reported by the representative of the Warsaw-Wola police department, Marta Sulowska, in a comment to Ukrinform.
According to her, the incident occurred on the night of June 9. Then two Poles and two Ukrainians quarreled among themselves in one of the central districts of the Polish capital.
After the argument, a fight broke out, during which the Poles stabbed the Ukrainians.
“Based on the evidence collected, the prosecutor's office authorized the temporary arrest of the two men,” a police spokeswoman said.
She emphasized that, based on medical documentation, the prosecutor brought charges of joint and concerted actions with a knife, as a result of which one victim received life-threatening injuries, and the other suffered moderate injuries.
Sulovskaya noted that the fight had no national basis.
According to her, according to the Criminal Code of Poland, in case of such an action, those arrested face from 3 to 20 years in prison.
Remember, this incident has already been reported earlier. Thus, the attackers inflicted 12 stab wounds on Ukrainians. One of the Ukrainians received five stab wounds, and the other seven, including a lung injury.
