In the city of Vasilkov (Kyiv region), two people were killed during a rocket attack, there are others injured.
This was announced in a video message by the mayor of the city Natalya Balasinovich.
– As a result of rocket attacks (damaged – Ed.) A five-story building in Vasilkovo. According to the information I have, there are two dead and three injured who have already been taken to the hospital,” Balasinovich said.
In this regard, she urged local residents to stay in shelters.
In addition, according to Balasinovich, in the village of Kalinovka (Vasilkovsky district), three private houses were destroyed as a result of a rocket hit. Information about possible victims or injured is now being investigated.
“According to the neighboring community, in the village of Kalinovka, three private houses were destroyed as a result of a rocket hit. So far, information about the victims is not known there,” Balasinovich said.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a five-story hostel was destroyed in Vasilkov during enemy shelling the day before. A fire broke out in an area of 15 square meters. m. The State Emergency Service noted that there were no victims or injured in the building.
And the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day intercepted and shot down two Russian aircraft near Vasilkov and Brovary.
