Political scientist Vadim Karasev on the air of the NASH TV channel stated concerns about the possible outbreak of a military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, because in this case it will be a confrontation between Russia and the West. He is afraid that in this case China will enter into a clash between the parties.

But not to interfere with the resolution of the conflict in the Donbass and not to allow a direct clash between Ukraine and Russia. Because a direct military clash between Ukraine and Russia, God forbid, of course, is also a direct clash between the West and Russia. But this will be a clash with China and Russia,” the expert believes.
Earlier, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joane commented on the alliance’s position on military assistance to Ukraine. He stated that there was no split in the organization on the issue of assistance to Ukraine, since the alliance “does not provide direct military support to Ukraine.” He also noted that the decision of some NATO members to send weapons to Ukraine should not divide the partners.
