President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree that will allow medical workers to be awarded a primary officer rank without completing military training.
The head of state announced this during the first International Congress on Military Medicine and Mental Health in Kyiv.

— I have signed a decree — a regulation on military service, regulating the service of persons with medical education and the assignment of a primary officer rank to doctors who have not completed military training, — he explained.
Zelensky added that supporting and encouraging medical workers in Ukraine is also a way to speed up the victory over the occupiers.
