Press Secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko denied the information about the ban on the entry of Russians into the country. This is reported by the Telegraph.
Demchenko urged not to be guided by rumors. “There is Ukrainian legislation regulating the crossing of the state border, and the border guards strictly observe it,” he said.
According to him, every day dozens of foreign citizens are denied entry to Ukraine “for various reasons.” He clarified that among them there are Russians who, like everyone else, must “fulfill the conditions for entry before entering the country's territory.”
Earlier, eyewitnesses began to disseminate information on social networks that Ukraine completely banned Russians from entering its territory. An exception, according to witnesses, is made only for those who have a certificate of death of close relatives. Later, a Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Vadim Rabinovich, confirmed the ban of the Ukrainian authorities to let Russian citizens into their territory.
