Turkey has introduced new restrictions on restaurants, theaters, cinemas, swimming pools and hairdressing salons amid the coronavirus pandemic – now they can only work until 22.00. This was announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“The opening hours of restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, hairdressers, wedding halls, pools, spas, baths, theaters, cinemas, hairdressers are now limited to 22:00,” Haberturk quotes Erdogan.

According to him, catering establishments will be able to work in the format of home delivery of orders.

According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, 379,775 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Turkey. Over the entire time of the pandemic, more than 10.4 thousand infected people have died, 327 007 people have been cured.

Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that 90% of Russians infected with coronavirus on vacation abroad had returned from Turkey.

Since August 1, Russia has begun to restore international air traffic suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The country has opened flights to Turkey, Great Britain, Tanzania, Switzerland, Egypt, the UAE and the Maldives. Flights could be carried out from Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.
