As it turned out, they are detaining those people who are related to the construction of houses that collapsed immediately after the earthquake in the southeastern provinces of Gaziantep and Sanliurfa.
Police has already begun a series of investigations into building collapses. Prosecutors have been ordered to set up special earthquake crime investigation units in 10 provinces.
Thus, the prosecutor's office in Diyarbakir has already issued warrants for the arrest of 29 people. The person responsible for the construction of a high-rise luxury house in the province of Hatay was also detained – he was caught at the Istanbul airport.
