In the village of Nelepino in the Transcarpathian region, a fire broke out in a residential building. The message to the rescue service came from neighbors who saw the smoke from the window of the building.
According to the State Emergency Service, neighbors were the first to notice black smoke coming out into the street from the building.
Fire fighters from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Svalyava arrived at the scene. During the reconnaissance of the center of the flame, rescuers found the owner of the house born in 1968 in one of the rooms. and leave the house on their own.
Rescuers helped the owner of the property to go outside and handed over to emergency doctors. They hospitalized the man in the Svalyava city hospital.
Rescue workers managed to completely extinguish the flames in a residential building almost 30 minutes after receiving the message.
