In the Zhytomyr region, a road traffic accident took the lives of three people. Among them are two boys and a father of children . The mother is in the hospital with serious injuries.
The first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department Alexey Beloshitskiy spoke about the terrible tragedy on his Facebook page.
According to him, the accident occurred at 141 km of the M-06 Kiev-Chop highway. According to preliminary data, the driver of Daewoo Lanos drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a DAF truck.
Three passengers were killed in the accident scene. Another woman with serious injuries is in a hospital.
Beloshitsky suggested that the dire consequences were due to several factors. Among them – driving into the oncoming lane, not wearing seat belts, lack of child seats and summer tires in the car.
He urged Ukrainians to drive carefully in vehicles and follow traffic rules – this will help save lives.
