As the Attorney General reported, a report was received that there were weapons at the school and law enforcement officers responded.
In the USA, state police Wisconsin on May 1 shot and killed a student who came to a local high school with a gun. The student never made it to school, but the entire area was put on lockdown as a preventive measure.
The Guardian reports this.
“An incident like this is the horror of any father. It was reported that there were weapons in the school, and law enforcement responded. This is an inherently dangerous situation,” Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul said at a press conference.
Authorities called the student a minor , but did not provide more details about him or specific details about the type of firearm the guy had. It was also not reported whether the student shot at the police.
The students have since been reunited with their parents. Some waited up to five hours for their children to be dropped off at a bus storage center in a village about 20 miles southwest of the state capital, Madison.
