In downtown Waukesha, Wisconsin (USA), an SUV drove at speed into the crowded Christmas procession & # 8212; more than 20 people were injured, there are casualties, but the exact number is & # 8212; not reported.
City Police Chief Dan Thompson said during a briefing that 11 adults and 12 children were taken to the hospital as a result of the incident. He did not disclose the number until the police inform their families.

He added that the investigation so far is & # 8220; very smooth & # 8221; , and he is not knows if the incident was terrorism-related. However, one person was detained and the vehicle seized.
One of the videos posted on social networks shows a red SUV rushing towards the parade participants, and in the second video, the police open fire on the car when he drives through police barriers.
Eyewitness estimates indicate that the vehicle was traveling at a speed of about 40 miles per hour (about 64 km/h, Ed. ) when he crashed into the crowd.
Thompson denied that someone in the car had opened fire on the crowd, but said police fired at the vehicle to try to stop it.
The Waukesha government announced that schools will be closed in the city on November 22, and the roads will remain closed for at least 24 hours.
