Former director of US National Intelligence John Ratcliffe spoke about the flights of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) previously hidden by the authorities. A report on such incidents should be published soon, writes Business Insider.
According to the ex-head of intelligence, Washington has secret information that UFOs flew at supersonic speed without breaking the sound barrier, and also made maneuvers that are inaccessible to the technologies available to mankind. “We have seen a lot more [UFO flights] than have been publicly reported,” Ratcliffe said.
Business Insider reminds that on June 1, the Pentagon is to publish a report on unidentified flying objects.
In August 2020, the Pentagon confirmed the creation of a working group to study UFOs. It was created to understand their nature and origin. The group will be subordinate to the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security and will be tasked with detecting, analyzing and cataloging UFOs that have the potential to pose a threat to US national security. The Pentagon explained that this term refers to objects that the observer cannot immediately recognize.
