The American aerospace company Astra canceled the launch of the rocket literally a second before it took off.
The incident is reported by Investors Business Daily. According to the published data, the missile launch was canceled by the guidance system already at the last second of the countdown. The planned launch of the flight was to take place under a contract with the Pentagon, while the rocket was expected to carry a payload for the US space force.
At the moment, Astra has not publicly announced when the next flight will take place. We will remind that earlier the company failed twice during the launch of missiles. So, in the fall of last year, the device did not make it to space due to problems with the guidance system, while in winter it did not have enough fuel in order to reach the required orbital speed.
