In the US state of Georgia, a child found a pistol and accidentally shot a 25-year-old man with it. This is reported by NBC.
According to the newspaper, Dustin Walters was found alive with a gunshot wound, he later died in hospital. It is noted that the child who shot is less than two years old. Law enforcement officials did not specify who the boy was killed.
The chief of police in the city of Savannah, where the accident occurred, urged to take the incident seriously and take measures to prevent this from happening again in other families. “Now we want to make sure that parents are aware that, although rarely, such incidents with tragic consequences can occur,” he concluded.

According to the US police, the boy found his father's pistol in his backpack. The woman was fatally wounded in the head, the ambulance staff could not save her.
