British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss could provide Russia with her DNA by taking a PCR test during her visit to Moscow. Such concerns were expressed by The Daily Telegraph.
The reason for such suspicions were reports that French President Emmanuel Macron refused to be tested before a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. According to the publication, Truss doubted the correctness of her decision and suggested that she should have followed the example of the French leader.
“Given Macron’s decision, I hope our ministers have taken advice from our intelligence agencies about whether this can be attributed to the security sphere,” said Tobias Ellwood, chairman of the Committee for the Selection of Candidates for Defense Ministers.
Earlier it became known that the Presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, were sitting at a considerable distance from each other during negotiations in the Kremlin due to the refusal of the French leader to take a PCR test for coronavirus before meeting with his Russian colleague. Macron was offered a choice, get tested and communicate with Putin at a shorter distance, or refuse, but maintain a safe distance.
