British Foreign Minister Truss called on the G7 to limit imports of Russian gas and oil

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss called on G7 partners to impose a limit on the import of gas and oil from Russia because of her operation in the Donbass. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“We need to coordinate this with our G7 partners because we cannot do it alone. We need to reduce oil and gas imports gradually. I would be in favor of introducing a ceiling on the import of gas and oil from Russia in order to eventually cut off our dependence throughout Europe. This is something we are working on with our G7 partners,” Truss explained on Sky News.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on London's sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “Neither Putin nor Lavrov has accounts in Britain or anywhere abroad. Maybe the government of the Kingdom did not freeze, but froze something? ”, – wrote the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova. The restrictions imply a freeze of assets, but the document does not indicate what kind of assets it is talking about and whether they exist.
