Moscow. May 21st. INTERFAX.RU – Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the start of serial production of combat robots with artificial intelligence.

“The serial production of combat robots has begun. Not just experimental samples have appeared, but robots that can really be shown in science fiction films when he is able to fight independently,” Shoigu said on Friday, speaking at the New Knowledge marathon.

He also announced a lot of work on the latest weapons, weapons of “tomorrow”.

“I cannot ignore what is called the weapon of tomorrow. There is also a lot of work going on here,” the minister said.
