As journalists noted, the strike hit the 12th-14th floors of the building located on Yablonevaya Street.
Later, information was released that another drone had hit the same multi-story building.
“As eyewitnesses told Mash, the second drone attacked the same building on Yablonevaya. It hit an apartment on 16th floor,” the message says.
Several fire trucks and an ambulance arrived at the scene.
Oryol Region Governor Andrey Klichkov confirmed this information on his Telegram channel.
“Today, starting at 12 midnight, the Oryol Region was subjected to a massive attack by enemy UAVs. “Three UAVs were destroyed by electronic warfare and air defense forces, two UAVs hit a residential building in the Bolkhovsky microdistrict,” Klichkov wrote.
According to him, the fire in the building has been localized and there are no casualties.
Unknown drones also attacked the Morozovsk military airfield, which is located 100 kilometers from Rostov-on-Don. Powerful explosions were recorded. Detonation was visible.
It is known that the 559th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment (military unit 75392 ME RF) is based at the airfield and Su-24, Su-24M frontline bombers are stationed, with 2014 Su-34.
Governor Vasily Golubev reported that as a result of a massive UAV attack on the Rostov region, “warehouse facilities” in the Kamensky and Morozovsky districts were damaged.
In city chats, residents of Rostov, Aksa and Bataysk also report explosions.
Russian media accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of attacks.
Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate clarified the number of damaged Russian bombers after the explosion at the Olenya airfield.
