The fact that a dog is man's best friend was proved to its owner by the six-month-old North Alaskan Malamute.

While trying to conquer the top of the Croatian mountain range Velebit, one of the three climbers slipped, fell and broke his leg in several places. The climber's dog kept him warm from frost for 13 hours.

& # 8212; Friendship and love between a man and a dog knows no boundaries, & # 8212; says the report of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service.

Three tourists and a dog, despite unfavorable weather conditions, on the first day of the new year went to conquer the highest point of the Velebit ridge at a height of 1,757 meters.

The head of the Croatian Mountain Service Josef Granic said that one of the climbers slipped and fell 150 meters. He hit and broke his leg in several places.

North got to the victim, who was in a place inaccessible to his friends. Ice slabs prevented them from doing this, but they were able to call for help.

Granich noted that when the rescuers lowered the man on a stretcher for more than seven hours, the dog lay curled up on the owner. He got up only when the man was being carried to the ambulance.

At the moment, the man’s life is not in danger and he feels good.
