PERM, 28 August. / TASS /. A robot from the Russian developer-resident Skolkovo is preparing patients in the Moscow office of the Russian Railways-Medicine clinics. He advises visitors, and also conducts initial diagnostics, Oleg Kivokurtsev, the development director of the Promobot company, told TASS.
“The robot advises visitors, answers questions, and also makes primary diagnostics of parameters such as pulse, height, weight, glucose levels and other indicators of the human body. In total, the robot diagnostician contains seven devices. Based on the received indicators, the robot prints a recommendation about Is it worth the visitor to see a doctor, “- said the agency's interlocutor.
The developers assure that robotics will increase the efficiency of the work of doctors, since the measurement of the main indicators of the human body takes up to 30% of the time at the doctor's appointment. If the technology proves itself, then similar robots will start working in other clinics of the network. The robot's “trial period” will end at the end of winter 2022, after which a decision will be made on further deliveries.
The Promobot company was founded in 2015 in Perm. Since the same year he has been a resident of Skolkovo. The company is a manufacturer of autonomous service robots in Europe. They “work” as administrators, promoters, consultants, tour guides and concierges.
