In the French Riviera, an electric scooter driver hit a 5-year-old kid from Ukraine.

As it became known, the tragedy occurred at the pedestrian crossing of the Promenade des Anglais along Nice Street, which stretches along coast of the city. The child walked with his mother. When the boy moved away from his mother a little, a 40-year-old man driving at an excessive speed crashed into him on an electric scooter.
“Despite the injury and fall, the scooter driver immediately took care of the child,” the local police said.
The city authorities expressed condolences over the tragedy and said that in the future they would consider “all options to avoid such cases.”
