In the Far East, they talked about the salmon catch

The catch of all types of red fish based on the results of the ending salmon fishing season in 2021 in the Pacific waters of Russia exceeded the forecast by more than 11%.

“The total salmon catch amounted to 511 thousand tons, exceeding the forecast by 11.3%,” the press service of the Pacific branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (TINRO) quotes TASS.

It is noted that the chum salmon will continue until mid-autumn.

Earlier, the head of Rosrybolovstvo, Ilya Shestakov, said that prices for red caviar and fish in Russia would go down.
