On the night of March 13, near the Brusin station in the Donetsk region, the Kramatorsk-Lviv passenger train was damaged by debris after shelling.
One of the guides died, another was hospitalized in the hospital of Slavyansk , where she is receiving the necessary assistance.
The evacuation flight was heading to Liman to pick up residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions from the zone of active hostilities.
“This is a terrible blow to those who save civilian Ukrainians every day and paved the “road of life” for more than 2 million rescued,” Ukrzaliznytsia notes.
Currently, the national carrier is making every effort to evacuate the train crew of the damaged train and all passengers who were waiting for rescue at the station in the city of Liman.
