In the Czech Republic, from April 12, quarantine measures will be mitigated
The Czech authorities intend to soften anti-coronavirus measures in the country from April 12, if the epidemiological situation in the country does not worsen. This was stated in an interview with the Czech newspaper Pravo by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Hamacek.
According to him, if the epidemiological situation in the country continues to improve, then the government will not demand to extend the emergency regime in force in the country from October 5, 2020. Thus, from April 12, general restrictions will be lifted on the territory of the republic.
In particular, we are talking about the abolition of the curfew and the ban on the movement of citizens between the administrative regions of the country. Currently, citizens are prohibited from leaving their place of residence without a valid reason. In addition, from this day, full-time education of students and schoolchildren will begin to resume.
According to the latest data, the daily increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the Czech Republic has halved. Over the entire time of the pandemic, 1.54 million cases of coronavirus were detected in the country, 26,867 people died. Today, a little more than 6.5 thousand patients with coronavirus remain in hospitals in the republic.
Earlier it became known that the French authorities introduced quarantine restrictions for one more month.
