Artillery ammunition, including North Korean, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for MLRS, were stored on the territory of the arsenal.
On the night of November 19, drones attacked the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in the Bryansk region of Russia Ministry of Defense. Local residents captured explosions and flashes in the sky on video.
Russian Telegram channels and the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko reported this.
A missile threat was declared in the Bryansk region at night. Residents of the city of Karachev reported an attack on a military base.
The video of local residents shows a glow and the sounds of detonation. Local authorities reported an attack by drones.
At the same time, Kovalenko reported that in the Bryansk region there was a strike on the 67th arsenal of the GRAU of the Russian Federation.
“There were artillery munitions, including those from the CPSU for their systems, KABs, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for MLRS. Even earlier, it was attacked by drones,” Kovalenko said in a statement.
In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry claims that air defense forces allegedly destroyed 12 Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region in the morning, and another one over Belgorod.
Recall that the 67th arsenal of the GRAU of the Russian Federation was already attacked in early October. This is the closest ammunition depot to the front line: it is located 114 km from the border with Ukraine.
