In the Arkhangelsk Region, starting next Monday, October 11, access to catering points, to mass, leisure and other public events will be possible only with a QR code of the vaccination certificate.
The decision to impose such restrictions was made on Wednesday, October 6, by the regional operational headquarters to combat the spread of coronavirus. In addition to the QR code on vaccination in cafes and restaurants, as well as other public places, the QR code on the transferred covid within the last 6 months or the presence of a negative PCR test for coronavirus, made no earlier than 3 days before presentation, will be valid. the government of the Arkhangelsk region.
In the region, from October 11, they will also introduce compulsory thermometry in shopping and entertainment complexes, close children's centers, and limit the provision of routine medical care in medical organizations, including preventive examinations and medical examinations.
“Today, the only way to reduce the spread of coronavirus without resorting to restrictions is vaccination. Otherwise, you have to follow the path of restrictions, which will undoubtedly affect both business and the social well-being of citizens,” Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky commented on the situation.
He noted that the rate of vaccination has seriously dropped: if in the summer 4-5 thousand inhabitants of the region were vaccinated every day and people stood in queues for vaccination, now no more than 1.4 thousand people receive vaccinations, and the vaccine supply is sufficient.
The regional Ministry of Health notes an increase in the number of severe patients with coronavirus: if at the beginning of June there were 83 such patients, now there are 250. In hospitals of the Arkhangelsk region, additional beds are being deployed, their number has been increased to 2.6 thousand, patients with COVID-19 are being treated in 23 hospitals in the region.
Restrictions on QR codes have also been introduced in the Vologda region – there they will begin to operate in medical institutions for those wishing to undergo a medical examination or medical examination. In the Kaliningrad region, catering will start working on QR codes from the next Friday, October 8.
