Moscow. July 15. INTERFAX.RU – In the Amur Region, a specialist in the IT-sphere of the Vostochny Space Center was sentenced to three years of suspended imprisonment for the threat to the security of the automated system of the cosmodrome.
“The convict grossly violated safety requirements during the operation of one of the automated systems of the cosmodrome, which is related to the critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation, which could threaten its normal functioning,” the FSB regional department said in a statement on Thursday.
The Svobodnensky City Court found an employee of the Vostochny CC guilty under the article on violation of the rules for the operation of automated control systems related to the critical infrastructure of Russia (part 3 of article 274.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The accused fully admitted his guilt.
