Schwyz doctor inoculates 100 people with expired COVID-19 vaccines

A doctor in the Swiss canton of Schwyz has been vaccinating citizens with expired COVID-19 vaccines for several months. RIA Novosti reports.
Medic Suzanne Niemann has introduced an expired drug against the coronavirus produced by Moderna to more than a hundred people. A criminal case has been opened against the doctor. Niemann was banned from practicing medicine.
The authorities clarified that the expired vaccine does not pose a threat to humans, but the effectiveness of the drug is questionable. Officials also noted that not all those vaccinated with an expired vaccine can be identified. The authorities have advised everyone vaccinated in Niemann's office to take protective measures.
Earlier in the state of Maryland in the United States, about 70 children were vaccinated with an expired coronavirus vaccine. The drug turned out to be expired due to violation of storage conditions. Health services have assured that the health of minors is not in danger.
