A resident of the Spanish city of Cartagena had to pay 1077 euros to get into her own apartment on New Year's Eve. This is reported by the publication La Opinion de Murcia .

A 59-year-old woman celebrated the New Year with her relatives. She then hurried home to return before curfew. The Spanish woman went to her door at about 12:30 am but found that she had forgotten her keys. Together with her was a seriously ill husband, who moves in a wheelchair and is awaiting a transplant operation.

In this regard, she had to look for a way out of the situation on her own. A woman on the Internet found a specialized company AGV Servivcios, which sent a specialist to her. He finished the lock in five minutes and wrote the dumbfounded client a check for 1,077 euros.

A resident of Cartagena feels cheated, but the company claims that such prices are in the order of things. Especially on New Year's Eve – 849 euros plus VAT. According to them, on any other day the service would be half the price.

And the 99-year-old designer and blogger from the USA Iris Apfel decided to celebrate the New Year in an unusual way. She climbed into the bath without taking off her clothes.
