It became known that in order to play Minecraft in South Korea, users must be 19 years of age or older.
Thus, Minecraft has become an adult game in this country. It is reported that it can only be played by those who have an account on Xbox Live, which, in turn, can only be started by people who have reached the age of 19.
It is known that previously, children from South Korea could play Minecraft, since it was possible to enter the game through a Mojang account, which helped them not to face age verification. Now Microsoft has decided to restrict children in this opportunity.
Naturally, Korean users did not like this initiative and they have already filed a corresponding petition addressed to President Moon Jaein. It was signed by more than 15 thousand people.
