In the city on the Volga, water disappeared in the left-bank part, where the majority of the population lives. The cessation of water supply is explained by an emergency power outage.

On Saturday, February 11, in the Russian city of Astrakhan, located at the mouth of the Volga River, there was a massive power outage and cold water supply.

According to the Podyem Telegram channel, water supply has been suspended in the left-bank part of the city, where the majority of the population lives.

Local authorities explain the cessation of water supply by a power outage due to an accident and reassure that water will appear soon.

Earlier, residents of a Russian city were warned about a massive blackout in residential buildings, as well as at the post office, bakery and some other public institutions. The shortest outages were supposed to last six hours, the longest ten hours.

The reasons for the emergency situation with power supply are not officially reported.

As you know, Russian military airfields are located in the Astrakhan region, on which are based heavy bombers Tu-95 and Tu-160, which bombard Ukraine with missiles.

Recall that in November last year in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow, electricity suddenly disappeared in the towers of the business center. Therefore, two Russian ministers sat without electricity at a meeting with dictator Putin.
