An explosion has rocked a police college in Nazran, the largest city in Ingushetia, Russia. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by local underground fighters who are fighting the Russian occupation of this North Caucasian republic bordering Ichkeria (Chechnya).

Astra reports on this case, noting that local authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

As a result of the explosion, which occurred at night, no one was injured, but the educational institution building itself was damaged.

Photos published on social media show broken glass and a damaged façade.

The underground organization “Galgaiche Armed Forces”, which opposes the Putin regime and Russian control in the region, claimed responsibility for the attack. A video of the moment of the explosion was published on social media.

In their statement, the underground activists noted that the target of the attack was a building where future employees of the Russian security forces, in particular the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian National Guard and other security agencies, are being trained.

“Since its opening in 2023, this college has become a training center for future executioners who learn to suppress the freedom of their own people under the guise of ‘education,’” the statement said.

The underground workers also noted that when preparing the operation, they took into account the proximity of the facility to civilian infrastructure, so it was decided to use a low-power explosive device to minimize possible damage and eliminate civilian casualties.

Last year in Ngushetia, a group of six local rebels fought a special unit of the Russian FSB in the city of Karabulak

Let us recall that recently in the Russian Republic of Udmurtia a group of security forces tried to detain a deserter from a military unit. He hid in the forest and shot back at his pursuers.
