On Saturday, April 6, in some cities of the Russian Federation, women responded to the call of the “Wives of the Mobilized” movement and went to the protest with empty pots. They beat them with spoons, thereby demanding to stop mobilization in the Russian Federation.
The first videos of this “brave” action, which takes place on balconies and near open windows of apartments, appeared on the Internet.
The organizers of the “March of Empty Pots” explain the holding of the action without going out onto the streets due to safety reasons for the participants.
Telegram channel “The Way Home”, which is the main mouthpiece of the “Wives of the Mobilized” movement , reports that in this way activists are demanding that a decree be signed to end the mobilization regime in Russia, in order to thereby “free people from mobilization slavery” and prevent new waves of mobilization.
The pounding in the pots was supposed to start at 17:00 local time, which is different in each of the 11 time zones of the Russian Federation.
“The hardest thing is to start. And then the whole country will ring,” Russian activists are convinced.
Recall that on February 10 of this year, Russian opposition publications published footage of members of the public movement “The Way Home” laying flowers and gathering at monuments in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and Yekaterinburg. They called for the demobilization of their relatives.
