In Russia, they created a material to save the charge of a smartphone in frost

Russian scientists have found a way to keep smartphones working in cold weather. They created a material that allows the battery to last longer at a temperature of -50 degrees, according to FAN.

The authors of the development were specialists from the National Research University “MIET” (NRU MIET) together with colleagues from the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. A.N. Frumkin. They specified that they used germanium nanocrystal anodes.

“The reversible capacity, that is, the charge that can be given by the electrode during normal operation, for our anode was about 250 mAh / g at -50 degrees,” the developers noted.

Earlier, experts from Roskachestvo told how to save a smartphone from the heat. If it overheats, you need to turn it off and put it in a cool place, and not try to cool it with improvised means.
