On July 2, the Defense Forces attacked the occupiers' command center in the Kursk region. Russia officially acknowledged the death of Major General Mikhail Gudkov, deputy commander of the Russian Navy.
This is the “fattest” loss of the occupation forces in terms of official level since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. It is known that Gudkov was appointed deputy commander of the Russian Navy only in March 2025. Before that, he headed the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet. It was the command center of this brigade that was attacked in early July, 24 Kanal reports.
The entire leadership of the 155th went to the “Kobzon concert”
It is noted that along with Mikhail Gudkov, another ten officers died.
Russian military blogger Evgeny Golman claims that, along with the former brigade commander of the Russian 155th Brigade, Gudkov, virtually all of its leadership was destroyed.
For some reason, no one tells us that the entire leadership of the 155th brigade was killed. Four “Hamsters” flew right on target because we don't have RER work, the propagandist complains in the video.

By “hamsters” he probably means the rockets fired from HIMARS launchers.
Let us recall that the 155th Marine Brigade is known for its war crimes in Ukraine, in particular the torture and murder of prisoners of war.
This brigade was called “Black Death” because of the colossal losses. Gudkov was called “Sickle” because he sent units to attack without support.
As of October 2024, it was reported that the brigade of the “Hero of Russia” Gudkov lost 80% of its personnel in the battles for Ugledar, which is approximately 2.4 thousand people.
