In Russia, there were large-scale disruptions in the work of social networks and providers

Russian users are complaining about massive disruptions to popular services and mobile providers throughout Russia, in particular in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions.

In Russia, problems are being recorded with the operation of the YouTube, Viber, WhatsApp and VKontakte platforms and the MTS, MegaFon and Beeline providers.

Russians report this on social networks.

In particular, Russian users reported a massive outage in the work of Telegram – problems were recorded with using the program when connecting to the mobile Internet.

Some users are unable to send messages or load chats. Problems arose in both the mobile and computer versions of the messenger.

At the same time, Roskomnadzor stated that a massive failure in the work of Telegram was being recorded in Russia, the USA, Germany and other countries. It is reported that 34% of complaints occur in Moscow, 15% in St. Petersburg, 4% each in the Moscow and Samara regions and the Krasnodar Territory.

According to Russian media, complaints are coming from Moscow, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd, Stavropol, Petrozavodsk and other cities.

In addition to Telegram, other popular instant messengers – WhatsApp and Viber – also experience glitches. Users of providers MTS, MegaFon, Beeline, Tele2 and Yota also report problems.

Beeline and Tele2 have already managed to justify that their networks are operating normally, and the problems in the operation of messengers and applications are on the side of these services.

We recall that earlier the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov said that the Telegram social network includes a number of threats to the security of Ukraine, and it is necessary to look for options to solve this problem.

So, recently scammers created a fake account on the Telegram network of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. They began collecting data, pretending to be an official channel of information.
