Electronics manufacturer MSI has significantly reduced the warranty period for video cards. Now, instead of 36 months, it is 6.
It should be noted that MSI has the right to unilaterally change the warranty terms. The company has exercised this right in relation to several models from NVIDIA and AMD.
The reason for this, according to analysts, was the interest of miners in MSI video cards. The fact is that when mining cryptocurrency, GPUs can fail before the end of the warranty period.
