Such gardens may also appear in large enterprises.

In the Russian Federation, where they are already testing scarcity of some goods and products due to sanctions for the barbaric attack on Ukraine, we decided to revive the tradition of organizing vegetable gardens in rural schools in order to supply school canteens with vegetables. This initiative was announced by the governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin.

RosSMI writes about this.

“The new is the well-forgotten old. I have a suggestion: the Soviet experience in the development of subsidiary farms, why don’t rural schools provide their canteens with potatoes and other vegetables – this is on the one hand. Teaching children to work is on the other hand,” the governor said in front of the farmers .

He added that gardens near schools are located in the Tomsk and Pervomaisky districts. The governor instructed the agrarian, educational and industrial blocks to prepare proposals for bringing the idea to life. Zhvachkin believes that large enterprises may also have such gardens.

“I believe that other municipalities should not stand aside either. I will ask. Perhaps this experience will be useful for large enterprises. I instruct the agricultural, educational and industrial blocks to study the issues and report,” the governor summed up.

< p> Earlier it was reported that due to the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation for the war against Ukraine, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble collapsed against the US dollar to a record level. This has already led to higher prices for imported goods.

Experts expect a second wave of food price increases in 2022, as many Russian farmers use foreign seeds and equipment.

Recall, Prime Minister of Belarus advised women to replace scarce pads with walks and sports.

As reported, the citizens of the invading country began to feel the consequences of the “boycott” of world-famous brands, which, due to Russia's attack on Ukraine, left their market. A Russian blogger on Instagram told about the mass panic that has already gripped the citizens of the aggressor country.

We also wrote that Instagram was blocked in Russia and bloggers in despair and hysteria are saying goodbye with a social network.
