The Peter the Great Military Academy has patented a modular drone. With its help, the military will look for places with accumulation of radiation and pollutants.
According to the source, the body of the drone is built on a supporting frame with sealed modules fastened together and two oppositely rotating engines. This creates a stable airfoil, fully protected by a steel net. It is noted that the drone will be used for local monitoring of the environmental situation, searching for people and equipment that has been involved in an accident. The tightness of the modules allows the drone to be used in all weather conditions, it will be able to land both on hard surfaces and on water. And due to its security, the drone will be used indoors, among urban infrastructure and in forests. At the same time, the car is not afraid of collisions with living beings or objects.
It is noted that the weight of the drone is 600 grams. Multipurpose units will be installed on it to collect data on the degree of environmental pollution, as well as used for various tasks, the number of which exceeds those described.
