As a result of a massive traffic accident 11 people were injured
Wednesday, January 5, in the Tula region of Russia on the M-4 “Don” highway, more than forty cars were involved in an accident.
This was reported by the Russian TASS agency with reference to the press service of the regional government.
As a result of the massive collision of cars, 11 people were injured, including two children.
The traffic in the direction of Moscow was blocked and a detour of the scene was organized. Rescuers, doctors and a mobile heating station arrived at the scene.
The press service of the state-owned Avtodor company clarified that first two cars, heading towards the Russian capital, were involved in an accident. The truck driver who was following them quickly braked, but could not avoid a collision. Then a series of accidents with the participation of four dozen cars began.
Recall, on December 26, in the Karmaskalinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia, a large-scale accident occurred on the Ufa-Orenburg highway. Due to a severe snowstorm, 30 cars collided there, most of which were badly damaged.
